Bridal potlis
How to choose a potli for your lehenga
A potli should sit against the lehenga the way a piece of jewellery does — same house of colour, not a second outfit. Colourways can be commissioned. There is no walk-in shop. Pieces go across India.
Start with the cloth, not the bag
Send a picture of the lehenga or sherwani on WhatsApp. Name the occasion and the date. The atelier will point to a line that already sits near that colour, or commission a colourway.
All potlis are stitched with foam and lining. Size is 8 to 10 inches.
Which line to open first
- Patola ikat — five colourways, ₹1,000 a piece. A clear start when the lehenga already has a strong print.
- Floral silk / Meena — ₹1,000. Soft grounds in forest, saffron, rani, royal, or ruby.
- Chidiya embroidery — ivory bird work and colourways, ₹1,950.
- Zardozi — raised gold roses, ₹1,850.
- Pearl and bead, metallic tissue, Banarasi kinkhwab clutches — prices are on each card. Kinkhwab clutches are 8 × 4 inches and take every phone.
- Fringe, gota, Banarasi satin, and the gold cylinder clutch are quoted on enquiry.
For fifty or more pieces — return gifts, a family set, Diwali — a special discount is confirmed after you write with quantity and colourways. See Diwali bulk gifting.
